31 Day Snap #31 COMPLETION!

Today, is the last day of the 31 Day Snap Challenge. At times I did want to give up but I persevered and kept on going. The challenge in itself was a lot more challenging than I first anticipated, remembering to take my camera to places and snap, edit and upload on the same night. I hoped that doing this challenge it would improve my photography skills but I don't think that has happened yet although I do think I need to give it more time. So today's images are previous pictures from this month.

31 Day Snap #30 A Major Disaster And Melted Ice-cream

Today, I had work (surprise surprise!) all was going well until I wanted to have a look on our ipad to see how much something was but turns out one of my colleagues had taken the ipad out of the case but left it on top of the case so when I picked up the ipad case thinking the ipad was in there, it slid down the till table and landed straight on the floor, and I have a strong suspicion it is now broke.. As I felt so bad and awful I went to my nearest Asda and bought as much junk food as I could to make myself feel not as bad, I picked up, crisps, sweets, ice lollies and a pot of Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough ice-cream, which was extremely melted to the point where I drank half of it!

31 Day Snap #29 Delivery And An Old Favourite

Today, I received my package from Nuxe (there will be a more detailed post coming soon, I promise!) and with my mum being in a cleaning mood we tidied up one of the cupboards in the hallway and got rid of three bags of shoes that don't fit or are looking a bit worst for wear, and as we were tidying the cupboard we found one of my old favourite games 'Bop It' so we played that for a while and it was rediscovered that I am the champion between us!

Whenever I try to tidy my room I always manage to get distracted by something that I find tucked away in a drawer, and today I found a butterfly magnetic sculpture thing which had me busy for an hour before I realised I had to be out the door in an hour for a work fashion show.

Today, I woke up late so I couldn't do anything in the morning as I had work at 12 and then I didn't finish until 8. When I got home my mum had put on a pizza for me and made me a coffee. And as always my cats did nothing but sleep.

Today, I had yet another lazy day and I just laid in bed all day as I've been so tired recently. As I had nothing going on I made myself some 'French toast' aka eggybread, and as always my cats did nothing but sleep.

31 Day Snap #24 A Little Obsessed...

As I've broke up from Sixth Form I have started my 'Deep Tidy'. Every summer I sort my room out and get rid of cr*p that I haven't used or touched for the past year and I end up getting rid of at least 3 bin bags. So when coming across my lip balm/lip gloss bag, I was surprised to see 23 lip balms. Although I do think I have more stashed in my room somewhere and I am yet to buy the Nuxe, Korres and Apvita lip balms/butters.

31 Day Snap #23 Body Shop

Today, I finally broke up from Sixth Form, woo! So I decided to treat myself and do some retail therapy. I went into Boots to get some cotton pads, ear-buds, Seventeen's cream eye-shadow in 'Wild Nude' and I was going to get Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquer in 'Apocalyptic' but they didn't have any in stock:( So I went into the Body Shop as they had a 50% of their body butters and I spent just under £30, whoops! (A more detailed blog post will be coming soon)

31 Day Snap #18 Chiquito

Yesterday, my friend and I decided to go for a meal as we needed a good catch up. We were going to go to the Preview but they had shut down so we eventually decided to go to Chiquitos which is a Mexican restaurant. The food there was AMAZING. My friend had the BBQ chicken quarter and a chocolate fudge sundae and I got the build your own fajita and the strawberry sauce sundae. Although I have to say the sundae was a bit of a disappointment.

31 Day Snap #16 Ready Steady Cook

Tonight, I met up with a few of friends and we decided to do our own Ready Steady Cook. In our bag we had an onion, two potatoes, two carrots, two tomatoes diced beef, a beef stock cube, a loaf of bread and flour. We also had a 'stock cupboard' which contained eggs, milk, water, lemon juice, rice, greaseproof paper, tin foil, chopping boards, bowls and knives etc. My friend and I decided to make a beef stew/casserole with a jacket potato and for dessert we would have eggybread. Although the jacket potato failed so we ended up making cheesy mash and we didn't have time/couldn't be bothered to make the eggybread.

My purse is always bulky, so every now and then I get rid of all the junk I have in my purse, I end up binning 15+ receipts and 5 out of date vouchers. I'm always surprised when I have 10+ vouchers left to use.

Poundland Bargains

Recently, I've noticed that there are a few bargains to be had at Poundland's beauty section. They stock anything from Milani to Stila and Rimmel to Dainty Doll. As I was in there I picked up a few bits.

A lip balm as, well I just love lip balms. This usually retails for £1.75.

I bought these as they were such a bargain for the price. I especially love 'Pink Of Me' and 'Virtual Violet'. The Rimmel polishes retail for £4.59 at boots and the Sally Hansen polish retails for £2.00 online.

Even though it's a refill it still comes with a sponge which is always useful. It usually retails for £18.

I was so surprised to see Dainty Doll in Poundland as some of the products from the range are more than £10 each. The only colours in Poundland was a green, yellow and a brown, and as I'm not one for a bright eyeshadow I stuck to the neutral shade. It usually retails for £11.

The Maybelline duo eye shadow usually retails for £1-3 and the Milani quad retails for £3 online.

The mascara retails for £4 online.

All in all I saved a whooping £45.52! What is your best Poundland saving?
