WISHLIST: Rebecca Minkoff Dupe

Everyone who knows me knows that I LOVE bags and they are my greatest weakness in life after skincare and after seeing this bag in Marks and Spencer, I might have died and gone to heaven. Now the title is a bit deceiving because it's not a proper dupe, I just saw the clasp on the front and the first thing that popped into my mind was it looks like a Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac but on further inspection of the bag it seems like that is where the similarities end. On the Autograph Leather Boxy Shoulder Bag the strap is different as it's all leather whereas the RM bag has a material and chain strap. Another difference is on the RM bags they have tassels and the Autograph ones don't. Another thing the Autograph bag doesn't have a pocket on the front which I think works really well it almost looks more 'formal'. The last difference is that I think the Autograph bag is a tad bigger as it also has a pocket in the middle which would be handy to store important things like keys and money or things that could get lost! So to sum up if you want a bigger bag for your buck get the Autograph one but if you want chains and tassels get the RM bag.

Until next time, Sam x

Guess who's back..

Back again tell a friend.

Hello everyone! About the title I just had to go with that classic.. Any way lets get back to what this post is about, I'm back blogging after my long unannounced break, my blog took a back seat whilst my a levels were more demanding than ever and with working part time but doing more hours I just didn't have time but now that I have finished and am taking a gap year I will have more time to put more in, I will hopefully be uploading 2-3 times a week. Now I've cleared that up I hope you have a lovely evening.

Barry M 'Pink Flamingo'

Hey guys, sorry I've been absent from my blog for past couple of weeks but life has been pretty cray, and I've had to put my energy into other things, but I should be back for a while now that I'm on study leave. Anyway enough of the ramble and lets get on with this review! I've had this shade in my collection for about a year now and I still can't put my finger on this colour because initially it looks like a coraly-pink and then in some lights it turns to a bright almost neon colour. I would definitely call it a Barbie Pink.

Formula wise it is quite thin so I did have to use two-three coats to get a fully opaque colour and on top I used my Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, which made the polish have a nice shine to it. As I'm typing this, it's my third day of wearing it and it's showing minor signs of wear at the tips but it's nothing major. I think this colour just shouts spring/summer nails, and I think it will suit every skin tone. I'd say it took about five minutes for it to be completely dry as I used a top coat and a dry spray.

I love this shade as it's good quality for the £2.99 price tag which you can buy at Boots or Superdrug.

Do you like this shade?

Nail Of The Day #8

Hey guys, today I thought I would do a quick post and tell you what's on my tips. On my nails today I have got Barry M nail paint in 'Pink Flamingo'. The colour is like an almost neon coral with more pink undertones than orange which I love as already I feel more summery.

Spring/Summer Nails

Hey guys, today I thought I would share with you my favourite nail trends for Spring 2014, I've seen a lot floating around, so I've narrowed it down to my top 5.

01. Lego Nails
This is a trend that was sported with Burberry and Prabal Gurung. It's all about the primary colours like red, blue, yellow and of course vibrant orange which are more popular than the usual neon shades.

02. Pastels
Of course I had to mention this trend, pastels are everywhere I go. But this time around they've taken a milky approach.

03. Natural Nails
The most elegant trend of the bunch I think. Keep your nails short and use a conditioning treatment and go 'naked' or if you have a light shimmer shade put that on your tips for a classy touch.

04. Stripes
I love me a striped nail whether it be a diagonal stripe, horizontal stripe or vertical stripe, I just love it. I think it's such a quick and easy nail art to achieve.

05. A Modern Mani
Out with the pink and white horizontal lines and in with the sheer nails and bold diagonal lines.

What is your favourite nail trend?

Wet To Dry Hair Care Routine

Hey guys, today I'm going to talk about my wet to dry hair care routine. I'm not going to mention the shampoo and conditioner I use as I've got a post coming up which will go into this. To start of with I wash my hair, put it into a hair towel and let it sit in the towel for five minutes which is long enough for me to moisturise and get dressed.

So firstly, I put a couple of sprays of Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray in my hair, as you should always protect your hair from heat as it can damage your hair which isn't good! I love it as it smells amazing, and I have tried other heat sprays but they've left my hair greasy whereas this one doesn't no matter how many sprays you put in your hair.

Then after I've protected my hair, I put a little of the Toni and Guy Shine Gloss Serum in my hair so it controls any frizz that I have and it gives my hair a nice shine, when I apply this I do it from the mid section to the ends of my hair, avoiding the roots as it can make the top section of your head greasy.

Then once I've prepped my hair I blowdry my hair using the Revlon Cord Magic Hair Dryer, I've had this for about six years now and I don't think I'll be needing to replace it any time soon. It blow dries my hair so quickly, I don't do my hair in any fancy way, I put my head upside down and blow dry the ends of my hair then when it's dry, I then blow dry the top of my head.

What's your haircare routine?
