First Impressions: Glossybox November

Hey guys, so today I thought I would share my first impressions of Glossybox this month. Inside the box you get 5 samples of either beauty, nails, hair, skincare or a fragrance. You also get a magazine and a little card saying what products you get and how much a full sized product is. It's £12.95 a month including post and packaging, you can check out more of their plans here.

When I saw this I instantly fell love with the colour as it's a pretty pastel bluey green and then a thought trailed through my head 'It's going to be sheer, too sheer maybe...', and then another thought went through my head 'it's a spring/summer colour not a winter colour'.. But nevertheless I'm excited to try it.

When I saw the black eye shadow I jumped up and down with joy as I've been pondering online at what black eye shadow I should get and then this bad boy came, so the dilemma was averted, it has such a butter soft texture and blends beautifully .

Vichy has never really been a brand I've delved into so it's nice to see three mini samples of their new serum and when my other one runs out I'll be excited to try it.

I've always wanted to try a nail spray so this was a good thing to have in the box. I think I've used it twice now and I'm not 100% sure that it works but I'll try it a couple more times and then give a proper review on it.

I've saved the best thing for last. This Yves Rocher hand cream is truly AMAZING. It smells lovely and it dries instantly and doesn't leave any oily residue that some hand creams do. This has been living in my handbag for the past week and I'm sure it will continue to live in there until I run out.

Were you happy with this months Glossybox? Was there any different items in your box?

Paris #3: Skincare

Hey guys, so to conclude my Paris posts, I thought I would end it on skincare.

To remove the bulk of my make up, I used my Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Water.

Then to cleanse my skin and remove the last bit of my make-up,  I used my Garnier Clean and Fresh Complete Cleansing Milk which I decanted into a travel sized bottle.

After cleansing my skin I then used my Simple Soothing Toner to tighten the pores.

After that I then dabbed Clinque's anti-blemish solutions spot treatment gel to any spots that I had.

Then after I dealt with the spots I then used a serum and then my Simple Light Moisturiser.

Review for the Toner and Moisturiser- HERE

Paris#2 Make Up and Nails

Hey guys, so as part of my Paris posts, today I'm going to share with you the make-up and nail varnish that I bought with me.

A tinted moisturiser as I'm not into foundations but I'll happily jump on the BB cream/tinted moisturiser band wagon. I found that this balanced out my skin tone, smells amazing and lasts all day.

My Autograph face palette, it has everything in it eye shadows, blushers, a small bronzer, lip gloss, a huge mirror, which made it perfect for me to take to Paris, it's also hand bag friendly too.

My very loved No7 Exquisite Curl mascara, a lashing of this and I'm ready to go.

Some beauty tools, two eye shadow brushes to blend with, a mini blush brush and tweezers to pluck any unwanted hair with, I also took some eye lash curlers which I didn't photograph.

Yes, I did take five eye liner pencils with me and yes you have spotted a favourite eye liner pencil brand.. I took my favourite liquid liner pen by Soap and Glory, a black eye liner pencil for the tight line, a nude eye liner pencil for the water line, the taupe eye liner pencil makes a very good eye shadow, and a white eye liner pencil for the inner corner.

My Nuxe lip balm, I freaking love this stuff as I feel like it does help nourish my lips, review HERE.

And lastly, we move on to nails, I wore this one as I wanted to try it out, it's such a beautiful shade and didn't chip at all. A review will be coming soon!

So that sums up what beauty bits I took, hope you had a lovely week

Halloween

Last week, I went to Paris, which was so great and I loved every second of it. My favourite part was going to the top of the Eiffel Tower and seeing the views, it was incredible. I learnt that some of the French were quite arrogant and it's such a romantic city, I also learnt that I like snails in garlic butter. I would definitely go back and see more of the city and maybe go back with a partner to get the 'romantic experience'.
